Hi, I’m Jake! Mr Hampton. The heart and soul behind the lens. Nice to meet you!

I believe most people would describe me as charismatic and passionate - along with maybe ‘weirdo, infectiously smiley and loves a good natter’.
I am a wedding and family photographer in the North West of England. I am all about creating the most genuine and unforgettable experiences.
I have been a photographer professionally for about 5 Years, however photography and image making has been in my blood since I was kid! Everywhere I go I see the world in pictures. Landscapes, people, nature, I want to capture it all and put it in my little time capsule that is my camera.
I believe that every moment, big or small, has a story to tell. I’m here to preserve the raw laughter, the quiet glances, and the unspoken bonds that make all these little moments uniquely yours.

At home is my gorgeous wife, who I married in May of 2022. I learnt a lot about what is important at a wedding. I have been in front of the camera too!
We had our first adorable little boy in Autumn of 2024. And to complete our small family is our mischievous orange cat.

Family is at the core of everything I do. Growing up as the oldest of eight children, my childhood was a whirlwind of chaos, laughter, love and memorable adventures. Those memories – the ones you wish you could bottle up and hold onto forever – are the kind I aim to capture in my work Whether it’s the joy and excitement of your wedding day, or the intimate connection of family life, my goal is to freeze-frame those precious moments so they become timeless.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me with a frying pan or wok. I love cooking and my creative side doesn’t get lost in the kitchen either. I am constantly trying new dishes and combining flavours. My favourite cuisine would be Italian hands down! Pasta just never fails. East Asian food is a close second.
